Maxine V. Parker (Betts), 98, of Warren, Ohio entered into eternal rest on April 5, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born the daughter of the late Anna Thompson on November 8, 1925, in Kinsman, Ohio.
Maxine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will forever be remembered for her sense of humor and her kind soul. She was always dancing, singing, and cracking one-liners. She loved big band and ballroom dancing, along with tap and clogging. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and spending time with family and friends. She was a long-time member of Howland Community Church. She enjoyed many winters in Florida with Bob. She always had a dog at home and loved each one of them.
Maxine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years Robert Parker, her son Greg Parker, brothers Richard Betts and Thomas Betts, and sister Peggy Reeder.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Beth Parker, her dog Gracie (aka Izzie), grandchildren Jeremy (Jamie) Parker and Jodie (Steve) Gibson, great-grandchildren Kelsey Lucas, Kristen (Nolan Yartz) Lucas, Chelsea Gibson, Miranda (Turner) Antonsen, Ryan Rosenberger and Reagan Rosenberger, along with several nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. The family would like to offer a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Patriot Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided. To honor Maxine, memorial contributions can be made to Patriot Hospice.
