Maynard Ord "Pete" Breedlove, 72 Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Maynard O. Breedlove, 72 of Lordstown who died Thursday afternoon at University Hospital, Cleveland. Maynard, known as Pete was born September 23, 1946 in Girard, a son of the late John R. and Agnes (Allison) Breedlove and was a lifelong area resident. He was proud to serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had worked as a mold setter for Packard Electric For 35 years, Retiring in 2005. Pete was a member of the Lake Milton American Legion, Post #737, the PGR (Patriot Guard Riders Association ) and also the Legion Riders. He was a member of the Fish and Game Club of Vienna and had organized fishing derby days for Fairhaven School in Niles. Pete enjoyed metal detecting and was a member of the Trumbull County Metal Detectors Club. He leaves his wife of 48 years, the former Rosemary Sapp, whom he married July 15, 1970; a daughter, Pansy Breedlove of Lordstown; one granddaughter, Alexis Skopos; four brothers, Leighton (Shirley) Breedlove of Austintown, James (Lillian) Breedlove of Girard, Harvey Breedlove of McDonald, George "Billy" (Barbara) Breedlove of McDonald; one sister, Helen Breedlove of Niles. Besides his parents, Pete was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Christine Skopos and one sister, Dixie Kuhn. Friends may call on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel.
