Michael L. Blosak, 75, of Boardman, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, January 10, 2025, at Assumption Village in North Lima.

Michael was born on July 27, 1949, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, a son of the late Leonard and Helen (Young) Blosak. He graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School and dedicated 20 years of service to the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) before retiring.

Michael was an active member of St. Dominic Church and had a wide range of hobbies that brought him joy. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed bowling and played on several bocce leagues with his wife, Elaine. Additionally, Michael loved movies and music, along with playing poker with his friends. He was the proud, founding member of the Briarfield Poker Club.

He is survived by his loving wife, the former Elaine Giampetro, whom he married on September 25, 1971; their three children, Jennifer (Ryan) Dobro of Hudson, Kerry (Jim) Hammond of Canfield, and Jonathan (Christina) Blosak of Lisbon; and five grandchildren who brought him immense joy. Michael is also survived by two sisters, Lynn Sammartino of Lansing, Michigan, and Bonnie Stephenson of Chicago, Illinois.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at St. Dominic Church, with visitation from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM.
