Michael Chichak

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church for Michael Chichak of Austintown who died Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Michael was born May 11, 1925 in Youngstown, OH., a son of Michael and Elizabeth (Stas) Chichak. He had retired in 1990 from Excelsior Marking Products in Stow and prior to that had worked as a typesetter for Atlas Stamp in Youngstown. He is survived by his wife Dolores (Beautus) Chichak whom he married June 11, 1948; two daughters Kathy (David) Kihm of Girard and Barbara (Michael) Tusin of Austintown; two sisters Mary Snyder and Betty Giovanni both of Youngstown; a brother Joseph Chichak of Canfield; 3 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister Ann Gane and two brothers George and John Chichak. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church. The family request that material tributes take the form of donations to the church.
