Milburn A. Griffith

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Sat. at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Milburn A. Griffith age 83 of 4119 Nottingham Dr., Austintown who died early Wed. morning at Austinwoods Care Center. Mr. Griffith was born Oct. 20, 1919 in Garnett, Kansas and was the son of Dan and Grace Griffith. He retired in 1985 from Operating Engineers Local #66. He had been secretary of Fraternal Order of Eagles #3298 in Austintown, social member of the Saxon Club, had been a member of the Masonic Lodge, had served in the Navy during WWII, formerly attended Kansas University and was avid train fan. His wife the former Alice D. (Gothay) whom he married in 1941 died in 1987. He leaves one son Wayne Griffith of Youngstown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 pm Friday.
