Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 11:00 AM at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Canfield for Millard L. Dysert of Shepherd of the Valley Assisted Living Center and formerly of Bradenton, Florida who passed away Friday evening at his home. Mr. Dysert was born June 11, 1908 in Hardin County Ohio, the son of Charles and Maude (Kester) Dysert. He was a Division Operations Manager at Standard Oil Co. for 44 years and retired in 1972. Millard leaves two sons: Charles of Canfield and Richard of Cincinnati Ohio. He also leaves a sister Lena Gilmore of Largo, FL and a half sister Faye Welling of Oregon, OH. Millard also leaves eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Mr. Dysert was predeceased by his wife, Helen (McElroy) whom he married in 1927 and passed away September 2, 1998. Two sisters, Virginia Neiswander and Gladys McAtee and a brother Earl are also deceased. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lord of Life Lutheran Church Organ Fund, Shepherd of the Valley, or Hospice of the Valley. Friends and family may call at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10-11 AM, one hour prior to the services
