Milton M. ''Uncle Milty'' Macgregor

MILTON M. “Uncle Milty” MACGREGOR Funeral services will be held 11 Am Sat. at the Lane Funeral Home- Mineral Ridge Chapel for Milton MacGregor age 76 of 1365 Gilbert Dr., Mineral Ridge who died late Tuesday eve. at the Cleveland Clinic. Milty was born Jan. 8, 1926 in Niles, OH and was the son of Matthew M. and Myrtle Mae (Rose) MacGregor. He retired from Superior Beverage in 1988 where he had been a driver for the company. Milty was a member of the V.F. W Post #4192 in Mineral Ridge where he had been past commander and bar manager. He was also a member of the AmVets #101 and #106, Army Navy Garrison #252, NAUS Club, Bella Napolli Club and had served in the Army during WWII. He was also a bicycle mechanic and loved golf. Milty is survived by his wife, Betty (Harshman) MacGregor whom he married July 31, 1948, 2 daughters, Linda Berencsi and Sandy Ohl, both of Mineral Ridge, 3 sons, Milton Bruce MacGregor of Mineral Ridge, James W. “Bimbo” MacGregor of Austintown and RobRoy MacGregor at home, one brother William MacGregor of Warrren, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Gary MacGregor. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.
