Nicholas Kraynek, age 83, passed away Monday, July 17th at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Nicholas was born February 2, 1934 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to the late Stephan and Mariah Kraynek. He and his family relocated to Warren in 1963. Nicholas worked for General Motors in Lordstown as an assembler and in Final Repair, he retired in 1997. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Old Erie Lodge #3 F&AM, and A.A.S.R. Valley of Youngstown. Nicholas loved sports, especially Pittsburgh teams! He was a great man and will be dearly missed. Nicholas is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret (Wisener) Kraynek whom he married May 5, 1957; his sons, Nicholas (Tami) Kraynek and Dan (Lori) Kraynek, his daughter Jaqueline Ihlenfeld; Seven grandchildren, Five great-grandchildren, a brother Walter, and sister Anne. Friends may call 5-7PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren, and 9-10AM Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2860 E. Market St. in Warren where the funeral service will begin at 10AM with Rev. Ann Marie Winters officiant. Interment Pineview Memorial Gardens.
