Noreen "Dutch" Logan 76, of Masury, OH passed away Friday morning September 21, 2012 at Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage, PA following a brief illness. She was born on June 22, 1936 in Wheatland, PA a daughter of the late Charles F. and Treva M. (Overdorf) Wilson. Dutch was a 1954 graduate of Sharon High School and went on to marry her future husband Herman "Jack" Logan in October of the following year. Together they would go on to share twenty-eight years of marriage and their three sons Patrick, Robert, and Mark. Mrs. Logan had worked for more than twenty-five years in the health care field beginning her career with Dr. C.H. Miller DO, and lastly retiring as a lab secretary at UPMC in Farrell, PA. She was of the catholic faith and past member of St. Joseph's Church in Sharon, PA and St. Bernadette's Church in Masury, OH. She leaves behind her two sons Patrick M. Logan and his companion Vicki Joebon of Franklin, PA and Robert J. Logan of Junction City, OH; two brothers Charles Wilson of Sharon, PA and William Wilson and his wife Rita of Seattle, WA; her sister Marilyn Oakes of Sharon, PA; three granddaughters a grandson as well as six great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband Jack Logan on May 6, 1984, and her son Mark J. Logan on October 8, 1984, brother Richard Wilson in 2008, and her sister Treva Joyce White in 2004. Closing prayers will begin at 9:15AM on Monday morning September 24, 2012 at the funeral home to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will beginning at 10:00AM at St. Thomas the Apostle (St. Bernadette Church) in Masury, OH. Burial will follow next to her son at Brookfield Township Cemetery. Contributions made may be to the American Lung Association.
