Olive Pearl Allen

NILES- Olive Pearl Allen, Age 98, died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles. Olive was born October 6, 1919 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Andrew J. and Ida J. (Wilson) Lamp. She was a 1938 graduate of East Liverpool High School. Olive worked at Conrads Drapery Shop in Louisville, Ohio for many years, and crocheted beautiful needlework. Olive enjoyed traveling especially the 15 years that she and Leonard wintered in Florida, she also loved spending time with family and friends. Besides her parents, Olive is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Allen, whom she married November 24, 1939. Leonard died April 21, 2008. Seven brothers and two sisters also preceded her. Olive is survived by her daughter Patricia Pfeifer, two sons Gary (Dawn) Allen, and David (Debbie) Allen; eight grandchildren, Tracy (Suzie) Allen, Will (Amy) Pfeifer, Trevor (Sarah) Allen, Matthew (Jennifer) Pfeifer, Stacey Allen, Jared (Jennifer) Allen, Kenneth Mark, and Kevin (Lindsay) Mark; and eleven great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 11AM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, 608 Crandon Ave. in Niles with Pastor Paula Marbury officiant. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
