Pasquale Liberatore

Warren - Pasquale "Pat" Liberatore, 89, passed away Tuesday evening, November 27, 2018 surrounded by his family, at his home. Pat was born on February 22, 1929, in Warren, OH, a son of the late John Joseph and Mamie (Scarpaci) Liberatore. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served in the Korean Conflict. While he served his country, he earned the Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Campaign Star and the United Nations Service Medal. He worked at Packard Electric for 44 years, working as a die setter and later as a truck driver until he retired in November 1990. He was a big family man, enjoyed going camping and traveling with his wife and daughters, and started the family reunions. After retirement he traveled all over the United States with his wife. He enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with his dogs. Pat will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 67 years, Vista (Clawges) Liberatore, whom he married on March 14, 1951; his daughters, Sherry Moss and Tina (Chris) Thompson; grandchildren, John P. (Michelle) Moss, Tammy L. Moss, Lucuis C. Thompson and his fianc Heather Nahrstedt, Tiffany B. Thompson, Brittany F. Thompson and her fianc Zack Bunea; great-grandchildren, Ashley L. Moss, Madelyn R. Moss, Ella Jo Moss, Isabel A. Moss, Laila A. Thompson, Sondra C. Strock, Riley R. Bunea, C. Leni Bunea, and Luci Y. Bunea; a great-great-granddaughter, Zoe C. Pence-Moss; and a brother Joseph J. Liberator. Besides his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his brothers, infant Pasquale Liberatore and Anthony Liberatore; a sister Josephine Sewickley; and a son in law John W. Moss. Friends and family may visit from 2-3:00PM on Monday December 3, 2018 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts Clark Chapel at 180 Garfield Road in Warren; with funeral services to follow at 3:00PM Burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna Township on Tuesday December4, 2018 at 2:00PM.
