Canfield- Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael’s Church with committal services at Canfield Village Cemetery for Patricia A. Allen of Fairway Dr. in Canfield who passed away Friday afternoon at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Allen was born February 1, 1930 in The Bronx, N.Y. the daughter of John and Mabel (McIntee) Lauria. After attending Hunter College in New York City, Patricia married William T. Allen on August 25, 1951. Together, they owned Memory Lane card and gift shop where Mrs. Allen eventually retired in 1995. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church in Canfield where she was a part of the Alter Guild Society and was involved in Operation Blessing. She was a member of the local knitting guild, Canfield AARP #3104, and was a world traveler. Mrs. Allen leaves four children: Wm. Mark (Deborah) Allen of Canton, MI., Thomas M. (Patricia) Allen of Raleigh, N.C., Elisabeth (Timothy) Rothbauer of Boardman, and Maureen Knight of Ada, OK. She also leaves fifteen grandchildren, and her Aunt and Uncle, Lillian and Frank Desiderio. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, on October 8, 1975. Memorial contributions may be sent in Mrs. Allen’s name to Hospice of the Valley at 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
