Patricia A. Palmer

Patricia A. Palmer, age 78, of Austintown, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018. Born February 24, 1940 in Butler, PA.; she was the daughter of Raymond and Bertha (Reed) Martin. Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Austintown. She loved cooking and homemaking; she was famous for her clothespin cookies and hard-tack candy. She enjoyed ceramics, conversation, and hospitality. She was also a member of the Youngstown Business Womens Association. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Edwin J. Palmer whom she married on February 23, 1963; sons: John (Jenny) Palmer of Canfield, Robert (Shari) Palmer of Mineral Ridge, and Edwin Palmer of Austintown; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a brother Robert (Mary) Martin of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel on Thursday from 4-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30AM on Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Rd., Austintown 44515. The family would extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Austinwoods Nursing Home.
