Patricia Ann Koenig

Private services were held celebrating the life of Patricia Ann Koenig, 74, who passed away Sunday, May 19, at her home with her loved ones by her side. Patricia was born August 14, 1944 in Youngstown the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Groucutt) Schell. She was a graduate of Ursuline High School, class of 1962 and had worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Healthcare Industry for many years. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a member of St. Michaels Church. She was an avid sports fan, especially of any of the Cleveland sports teams, and enjoyed gaming. Family was first and foremost in Patricias life and she was always in attendance for all her grandchildrens events. Patricia leaves her husband James Koenig, whom she married July 15, 1967, two sons, Michael (Maria) Koenig of Boardman, and Matthew (Susanne) Koenig of Canfield, as well as three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Marina, and Cameron all of Canfield. Patricia also leaves six siblings, Robert (Vivian) Schell, Thomas (Linda) Schell, and Becky Schell all of Florida, Dorothy (Richard) Kyle, Debbie (Don) Maloney and Kathleen (Charles) Damelio all of Canfield. Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Kay Martz and a brother James Schell. All services were private and entrusted to the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel.
