Patricia Ann Mcelhaney

Funeral services celebrating the life of Patricia Ann McElhaney will be held 7 PM Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel. Patricia passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles at the age of 72. She was born March 12, 1945 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, the daughter of James Alfred and Margaret Lucille (Fisher) Henderson, and came to this area as a child. Patricia had worked at Lawson Milk Co., Liberty Highland and retired from McCauley's Giant Eagle where she worked in the Deli. She enjoyed crafts and flower gardening. Most of all Patricia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Her husband John A. McElhaney whom she married December 8, 1962, passed away June 19, 2002. She leaves two step children, Sandra Clay of Cortland, and Johnny McElhaney of Niles, four sisters Betty McElhaney of AZ., Louise (Robert) McElhaney of Stewart, FL., Clara Faye Sawtelle of McDonald, and Janet Henderson of Niles, two brothers James Henderson of Niles and Frederick Henderson of Youngstown, as well as 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by a grandson, Jared Clay, a great granddaughter, Kayla Telshaw and a brother Robert Henderson.
