Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Galilee Apostolic Church, the former Wickliffe Christian Church, for Patricia Anne Pinkerton, 94, of Austintown Twp. who passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Pat was born August 27, 1924 the daughter of Austin and Olive Elizabeth Irene (Clark) Dull. She was an office manager of Radiology Consultants at St. Elizabeth retiring in the 1980s. Pat enjoyed sewing and made her own clothes as well and clothes for her daughter and other house hold items. She was also an avid reader for many years and when her vision failed she enjoyed books on tape. For many years Pat was involved with a literacy reading program, teaching young adults how to read. She also actively taught Sunday school for many years at Wickliffe Christian Church as well as a young married class at the church. Pat and her husband were members of Wickliffe Christian Church for many years and later were members of Christ Church in Boardman. She enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things and for many years she and her husband Bob became "snow birds" and lived in Florida for half of the year. Pat was a very loving care giver to anyone who needed it. She would lend an ear to anyone with a problem and many times their problems became her problems. As a caring soul she would take care of everyone, and during their later years she cared for both her husband and brother until their passing. Her husband Robert J. Pinkerton Sr. whom she married November 17, 1943, passed away January 14, 2008. Patricia leaves her daughter Dianne Williams of Austintown Twp. a daughter in law Suzanne Pinkerton of Canfield, grandchildren, Stephanie (Joe) Kunovich of Strongsville, Robert A. Williams III, and Matthew Pinkerton both of Austintown Twp., Elizabeth Pinkerton of South Carolina, and Rebecca (Mark) Fabian of Springfield, MO., as well as great grandchildren, Peyton Hulbert, Alexis and Grace Kunovich, Braedon (Dana), Joelle, and Thalia Fabian. Besides her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Pinkerton Jr. and a brother, David Dull Sr. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11:30 AM Saturday at the church where services will begin at 11:30 AM.
