Warren – Patricia DeCapito, 86, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 26, 2025 at her residence. 

Patricia was born on April 11, 1938 in New Castle, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Ada (Jones) Parsons.

She was a Howland High School graduate and continued her education at Warren Business College. Shortly after high school, at 19 years old, she married her high school sweetheart, Raymond DeCapito. She was an office clerk at Wilt Pontiac in Warren until she and Raymond started their family. Later in life, she worked as a cook at Lakeview Schools. 

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she loved to rock and hold the babies in the nursery. She enjoyed going on snowmobile vacations and boating on the lake on the weekends. 

Patricia will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 67 years, Raymon DeCapito; children, Deborah DeCapito of New Orleans, Kimberly (Rich) DeCapito, and Raymond Anthony DeCapito; grandchildren, Jonathan Wipple of Baton Rouge, LA, Brandi Rae (Dan Helman), Patrick (Amber) Daugherty, Kelsey Daugherty, Amber (Dillon) DeCapito, and Anthony DeCapito; six great-grandchildren, including Kayli Munroe who Patricia and Raymond raised like one of their own; one great-great grandchild; and sister Penny Pearce.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Evans; nephew, John Groff; and niece, Cheryl Walker. 

Per Patricia’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services. Arrangements were entrusted with Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts Clark Chapel in Warren.
