Patricia L. Goode

Patricia L. Goode, 81, of Mineral Ridge, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, November 27th, surrounded by her family, at her residence.

"Patty" as she was affectionately known, was born September 17, 1943 in Warren, a daughter of Charles and Priscilla (Shewell) Mawby.

She was a 1961 graduate of Champion High School and spent her adult life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family.

Patty married Carl L. Goode, Jr. on May 26, 1988. They shared 36 years of marriage and many happy memories together. He survives her.

She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and drawing. She was also an avid gardener and loved maintaining her yard.

Besides her husband, Patty is survived by six children; Brenda Kerr, of Twinsburg, Jacquelyn Luzar, of Leavittsburg, Victoria Luzar, of Niles, Frank Luzar, of Mineral Ridge, Dennis Luzar, of Niles, and Amber Beckwith, of Niles. She also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Patricia Serva, and two sisters, JoAnn Tabor and Judith Moran.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 3rd, at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel, 1350 N. Canfield Niles Rd., Mineral Ridge, with Pastor Joel Theis officiating.

Friends may call 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. 

She will be laid to rest immediately following services in the Kerr Cemtery, Weathersfield Twp.
