PATRICIA J. WENDT BOARDMAN-- There will be services at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Lane Family Funeral homes, Anstrom Chapel in Boardman for Patricia J. Wendt, 68, who died Sunday morning at Hospice House. Mrs. Wendt was born March 5, 1947 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph R. and Helen R. Hart McMunigle. She was a 1965 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. Patty was a homemaker and a member of John Calvin St. Paul Church. Patty enjoyed writing and loved crafting. Her many projects included making holiday ornaments, birdhouses, sewing blankets, and lawn silhouettes. Patty had a great sense of humor and was a caring and nurturing person. She loved animals, especially their dog, "Cameron" and a white tail fawn she raised after the mother died, she named "Babe". "Babe" adopted the family and stayed around the house for 20 years. She leaves her sons, Richard E. and Ronald S. (Jaymi) both of Boardman; her sisters, JoAnn L. McMunigle of Clearwater, FL and (Sue) Marilyn R. Miller of Poland; and her brother, Robert H. McMunigle of Canfield. Her husband of 39 years, Earl E. Wendt, whom she married March 20, 1965 died January 20, 2005. Friends may call Thursday from 12 to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.
