Patricia A. Kane Fox

Patricia Ann Kane Fox, 86, died peacefully on September 23, 2024 at Briarfield Manor in Austintown, Ohio.

Born to parents Paul H. and Dorothy M. Kane on July 14th, 1938, in Youngstown, Ohio. 

Beloved wife of Edgar Ross Fox (deceased) for 34 years. Mother of Debra Lynn Ellis (Scott Kovach) Spokane WA, Jeffrey Jewhurst (Trudy) Colbert WA. Stepmother to Cindy Fairchild (Bob) Avon Lake, OH and Dale R. Fox, Rocky River, OH.

Grandmother/Step-grandmother to Aaron Michael Ellis, Crystal Fry, Christopher Jewhurst (Danielle), Kelsey Jewhurst, Kendall Scally (Dakota), Brittany Williams (Joe), and Jenna Fairchild.

Great grandmother/Great step-grandmother to Alesia Couture, Madyson Eliza Ellis, McKenzie Lynn White, Bradley Keith White, Jackson Cole Williams, Athena Fry and Darren Savage.

She is survived by 4 siblings, Kathleen Rickards (Jim), Sarasota FL, Dorothy Kane, Austintown, OH, Paul Kane (Bonnie), Rochester MN and William Kane (Susan) Canfield, OH. One of 6 children, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews throughout the country.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Janet Kane and her granddaughter Lyndsey Ellis White.

Pat and Ross lived for 35 years in Jacksonville, Florida, where Pat was a bookkeeper for Mayport Marine and then Trane Technologies. She was an avid seamstress, and loved making jewelry and other crafts.

The family wishes to thank the staff at The Inn at Ironwood in Canfield, Ohio, the Briarfield Manor in Austintown, Ohio and Akeso Hospice for their compassion and care these last four years after her husband passed.
