Patricia Ann Koby

Patricia “Patty” Ann Koby, 86, of Warren, Ohio passed away on October 16th, 2024. She was born on June 15th, 1938 in Warren, Ohio to the late Charles Vail and Lona (Keesecker) Vail. She was a 1956 graduate of Howland High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Edgar Koby Sr. on April 28th, 1958, whom she spent nearly 60 years with. After their marriage, Patty and her husband moved out to California, eventually coming back to Ohio in order to start a family. They built a loving home and went on to raise 3 children, and Patty helped her husband run the family business, Koby Radiator.

Patty had many interests, such as gardening, bird watching, bringing wildlife to the backyard, sewing all the Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, but her favorite activity was hosting the family holidays.

To carry on her memory, Patty leaves behind her 3 children; Lisa Street, Edgar Koby Jr., and Robert Koby, as well as 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Patty is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her 2 brothers, Jim Vail and Norm Vail.

Per the wishes of the family, services will be held privately.
