Patrick E. O'Hara, 80, of Warren passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Patrick was born February 21, 1934, in Bunola, PA,, the son of the late John and Alberta O'Hara. He retired from General Motors Lordstown in 1985. During retirement he enjoyed working for the Red Sox minor league team in Sarasota Fla., and was an avid thoroughbred horse racing fan. Patrick served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Freda; four daughters: Tawny Wortman, Sherry Maffit (Bill), Holly O'Hara, Kelly Welke (Michael); a son John O'Hara (Colleen); a stepdaughter Ann Janes ( John); and 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. He had ten brothers and sisters, and is survived by a brother, and three sisters, and was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother. A service of remembrance will be held 3:30 pm Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Cortland Christian Church, 153 Grove St. Cortland OH. The Rev. Donald Barnes and Rev. John O'Hara will officiate. Friends may visit with family a half hour before and after the service. A private family committal service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Lane Family Funeral Home Roberts Clark Chapel, Warren.
