Paul C. Brown, Jr.

FOWLER- Paul C. Brown, Jr., age 72, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Windsor House at Champion. Paul was born October 21, 1946 in Fowler to the late Paul C. and Anna Mae (Ford) Brown. He was a 1964 graduate of Mathews High School. Paul retired at the age of 50 from General Motors in Lordstown after 30 years of service. Paul was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians, along with the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and the Miami Dolphins. Paul was talented with his hands, he built his own home and several others. He will be fondly remembered as a tinkerer. Besides his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wife, the former Linda Marie Boyd, they married August 8, 1965, she died November 7, 2013; as well as his brother Jerry Brown and his sister Mary Ann Brown. Paul will be forever missed by his daughters, Patricia (Harold) Hyde of Bazetta and Wendy Brown of Cortland; two beloved granddaughters Alexis and Kelsey Hyde, a sister Alice Brown, and three brothers John, Joel, and Dale Brown. Friends may call 5-8PM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. High St. in Cortland. A private interment will be at Dugan Cemetery.
