Pauline O. Gauder

Pauline Opal Gauder, 92 Pauline Opal Gauder, 92 of Canfield, formerly of Florida and Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully at her daughter's residence on Friday, August 25th. Pauline was born November 8, 1924 in Sedalia, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Paul and Gladys O. (Easley) Johnson and moved to Akron at a very young age. This was where she married her husband and raised her children and had moved to Canfield in 2015. She was a beautiful seamstress and loved to knit, crochet and read; especially mysteries. Her husband, Frank W. Gauder, whom she married October 29, 1951, died March 22, 2011. She leaves three daughters, Darleen (Len) Neiheisel of Canfield, Kathleen (Ron) Drumm of Tampa, Florida, Eileen (Bob) Simcox of Apopka, Florida; one son, Frank (Kaye) Gauder, Jr of Tallmadge; one brother, Don (Ethel) Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona and her grandchildren, Rob (Emily) Simcox, Alissa (Matt) Scheuritzel, Autumn (Brian) Stephen, Megan (Bryan) Britz, Monica (Steven) Vazquez, Ryan Drumm, Adam (Meaghan) Drumm, Stacey (Scott) Reimers, Amy (Wade) Robinson and Laura and Matthew Neiheisel. Pauline also leaves her great-grandchildren, R.J. And Max Simcox, Porter and Stella Stephen, Dyllan, Madisen and Kaiden Britz, Payton and Talon Vazquez, Ashlyn, Mason and Aubree Drumm, Ezra and Colton Reimers and one on the way, Baby Scheuritzel. Besides her parents and her husband, Pauline was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Gauder and her sister, Mary DeWitt. She will be interred on Wednesday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron next to her husband. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
