AUSTINTOWN---Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Peter Paul Nigro, 81 of S. Kimberly Ave. who passed away Monday morning. Peter was born Sept. 3, 1921 in New Castle, PA., the son of Antonio and Angela Marie Ricci Nigro. He had been employed by Consolidated Warehouse retiring in 1974. A graduate of New Castle High School, Peter attended St. Joseph Church and was an Army veteran of WWII serving as a Sergeant and was a life member of VFW Post 3307. He was an avid bowler. Besides his wife, the former Ruth Jean Dicken he leaves a daughter, Mary (Tom) Cluff of Whittier, CA., two sons, Joseph (Judith) and David (Margaret) Nigro, both of Boardman, two sisters, Effie Biasucci of Baltimore, MD., and Frances Vale of Sharpsville, PA., 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A sister, Mary Graziani and brother Joseph Nigro preceded him in death. Friends may call from 12:30 until the time of service at the funeral home.
