Philip B. Brigido, 100, passed away peacefully at Gillette Nursing Home on Monday, November 23, 2020. He was born February 25, 1920 in Old Forge, PA. He was one of 14 children and was the last surviving sibling.
Philip and the former Hilda Mischianti were united in marriage on December 19, 1942. He and his wife have been married for 78 years. They relocated to Warren in 1992 to be near his son Joseph and family.
He worked in the coal related industry and in the textile industry. His greatest joys were enjoying his grandchildren and great granddaughters. Philip also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. In addition to family, he enjoyed landscape care and helping family members with any work projects. He was a humble, peaceful, and unassuming individual who was devoted to family.
He is survived by his wife Hilda; his son Joseph (Sandy); his grandchildren Philip (Kristi) and Laura (Mary); his great granddaughters Cara and Gia; and his daughter-in-law Kim.
Philip was preceded in death by his son, Leonard and his parents.
Private family services were held at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel. Interment was at Howland Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 4531 Belmont Ave. Unit #9, Youngstown, OH 44505.
