Phyllis Jean Buckner

Phyllis Jean (Ferrando) Buckner, 84, of Youngstown, Ohio passed away peacefully at her residence on September 25th, 2024. She was born the daughter of the late Phillip Ferrando and Vick (Koening) Ferrando in Youngstown, Ohio and was a graduate of Chaney High School. She worked in retail for years and later became a nanny. She loved flowers, arts and crafts and enjoyed bowling, but most of all she looked forward to spending time with her family. Phyllis married the love of her life Bob Buckner on June 27th, 1959 and went on to raise 3 sons, James (Gwynn) Buckner, Gary Buckner, and Roger (Brenda) Buckner.

Phyllis leaves behind her husband, her 3 sons, a brother, Gary (Theresa) Ferrando, and 4 grandchildren, Michael (Monique) Buckner, Julie (Douglas) Berkhouse, Lucas (Elizabeth) Buckner, and Lindsay (Brian) McGill, as well as 5 great-grandchildren. 

Friends and family may call on Monday September 30th, from 10am to 11am at Lane Funeral Home-Austintown with a service to follow at 11am.
