Phyllis Tackett

Phyllis Rae Tackett, 89 years old, passed away peacefully July 24, 2024. She is back in the arms of her husband, Billy Jo, who was waiting for her to be together forever.

Her selflessness and devotion for her sons showed with her loving heart and hardworking hands. Her heart, filled with love for her family in a gentle and caring way, brought that precious smile upon her face. Her dedication to her boys and family meant everything to her.

Her love for many things such as basketball, bowling leagues for years, along with shopping and entertainment with her sister, Janice. She had a passion for crafts, sunbathing, walking, and reading books.

Her warmth and kindness and her special touch will be cherished as we will hold our memories close in our hearts. She will be greatly missed.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by her loving son, David (Karen) Tackett; grandchildren, Billy-John, Jennifer, Michael, and Jason Tackett; great-grandchildren, Callan, Dominic, and Emma Faith Tackett; and daughter-in-law Clarita Tackett.

Besides her parents, Everett and Elizabeth Edison, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, whom she married Billy Jo Tackett; son Randall Tackett; sister Janice; and may brothers. 

Family and friends may visit from 9:30-11am on Monday August 5, 2024 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel, located at 180 Garfield Dr. NE In Warren.

Funeral service will follow at 11AM at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Warren Township.
