Raymond Carl Albrecht

Raymond Carl Albrecht, 72, of Youngstown, Ohio passed away on February 8th, 2025. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Ralph Albrecht and Margaret (Ridder) Albrecht on May 1st, 1952. He was a 1970 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and went on to work on the assembly line at GM Lordstown for nearly 35 years. Raymond was a proud member of UAW 1112, serving as Consumer Affairs Chairmen for a number of years.

Raymond married the love of his life, Vivian (Carr) Albrecht on September 21st, 1991, with whom he would spend over 30 years with, creating a lifetime of memories. He held many interests such as maintaining his yard and being an all-around handyman, but he carried a special love for gardening and growing flowers with which he took great pride. Raymond was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Youngstown, serving as Financial Secretary for many years. In 2017, he and Vivian joined Redeemer Lutheran Church, Austintown

Raymond’s memory will be carried on by his wife, his siblings; Nancie (Robert) Hoyng and Tom (Pamela) Albrecht, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call from 10am to 11am on Wedsnesday February 19th at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road Austintown, Ohio 44515 with a service to follow at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the Redeemer Lutheran Church memorial.
