Raymond Terlecki

Raymond “Turk” Terlecki, 87 of Youngstown, passed away Monday morning at Windsor House of Canfield. Raymond was born December 27, 1935 in Scottsdale, PA, a son of the late Michael and Madeline (Snyder) Terlecki. He came to this area as a child, and graduated from Chaney High School. Following high school, Raymond joined the military and served in the U. S. Marine Corp. Raymond worked at Packard Electric for 30 years before retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Christine Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Most importantly to Raymond was family and he looked forward to the time spent together.He leaves his wife, the former Karen Miles, whom he married December 21, 1975; two children, Michael (Karen) Terlecki of Youngstown, Madeline “Lynn” Murphy of Youngstown and three grandchildren, Kara Terlecki, Nicholas Murphy, Taylor Murphy and one great-granddaughter, Raya Dimaco. Raymond also leaves a sister Nancy Shepherd and a brother, James (Dorothy) Terlecki, both of Youngstown. Besides his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by His 1st wife, Carol Ann Pupino,a daughter, Vickie Rickert. Private services have been held for the family.
