Rebecca Caroline Soverns

AUSTINTOWN- Funeral services will held 10 AM Wed. at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Rebecca C. Soverns age 75 of 148 S. Inglewood Ave. who died Sat. afternoon at her residence with her daughters by her side. Rebecca was born Feb. 7, 1927 in Vanderbilt, Pa. and was the daughter of William and Gladys (Edwards) Barricklow. She had been secretary for her husband’s company, S&S plumbing which he had owned and operated. She was a member of Wickliffe Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star Chapter in Niles, past Guardian of International Order of Jobs Daughters Bethel Chapter #23, a graduate of Dunbar Twp. School in Dunbar, Pa. and loved to sew, do handwork and cook. Her husband, Harry J Bell Soverns whom she married June 9, 1948 died June 4, 2000. She leaves two daughters, Barbara and her husband Dale Loewit of Boardman, Rebecca and her husband David Marks of Austintown, four grandchildren, Craig and his wife Melinda Marks, Lindsay Marks, Brea Loewit and her husband Jim Simpson, Brandon Loewit and one great grandson, Tyler Joseph Marks. She was preceded in death by a sister Betty Johnson and two brothers, John and William Barricklow. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Tuesday. The Eastern Star will hold a service 8 PM Tuesday eve. at the funeral home.
