Richard A. Goodge

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Richard A. Goodge of 4525 E. Webb Rd., Austintown who died Tuesday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Richard was born May 5, 1960 in Youngstown, OH. A son of Ralph E. and Vera M. (Stevens) Goodge. He was a 1978 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. He loved and played football. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed golfing, modeling, and chess playing. He was a machinist for Micro Matic for ten years. He is survived by his parents with whom he made his home; a daughter Heather Gilby of Salem; a sister Kathleen and her husband Brian Hart of Columbus, OH; a niece Danielle Hart and a nephew Evan Hart both of Columbus, OH. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Wilbur & Evelyn Goodge and Ruby & Ezra Steven. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
