Richard Allen Grove

Richard "Dick" A. Grove, age 76, passed away Friday, April 28th at Select Specialty Hospital in Warren. Richard was born February 19, 1941 in Warren to the late George A. and Florence (Sutliff) Grove. He was a lifelong Bristolville resident. He retired from Central Transport after many years. Dick was a member of the Mecca Moose and the Ashtabula County Antique Tractor Club. He enjoyed working in his garage and was proud of his restored John Deere Tractor. Dick was a family man and loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Dick is survived by his wife, the former Violet Richman, who he married June 5, 1960; his daughters, Judy (Gary) Harrer, Julie (David Kovac) McGivney, and Jennifer (Jeremy Schuknecht) Grove. His grandchildren, Jeanne (Brent), Jamie (Michael), Justice (Jason), Richard, Daniel, Cole, Lane, Taytum, and Leeann; great-grandchildren, William, Trent, Hayley, Jordyn, Peyton, and Seth. Besides his parents, Dick is preceded in death by his brother Donald and his grandson Zachary. Friends may call 4-7pm Wednesday, May 3rd at the Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N.
