Richard J. Bush

Richard J. Bush, 77, of North Jackson, passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 14, 2024. 

Richard was born August 30, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Richard J. and Veronica D. (Ruz) Bush.

Richard graduated from Western Reserve in 1965 and continued his education, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Youngstown State University. He worked at Packard Electric for 30 years while growing Bush’s Fireplace Shop out of the front of his house in 1976 into the thriving business it is today. Richard was a hard worker who took pride in being honest and fair with his customers. 

Richard enjoyed boating, vacationing, reading, gardening, fishing, and spending time at his cabin in Pennsylvania. Richard loved his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson Devin Christoff. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Debra K. (Edsall) Bush; his children Aaron C. (Lori) Bush, Alison (Christopher) Taylor; his stepchildren Ray Christoff and Susan Terry; grandchildren Jacob Bush, Christian Terry, Justin Christoff, Logan Bush, Sadie Christoff, Nathan Terry, Benjamin Taylor, Hadley Taylor and many great grandchildren.
