Richard Paul Minto

Richard Paul Minto, 62 of Warren, died Thursday morning, October 5, 2017, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born December 31, 1954 in Steubenville, the son of the late Clarence Edward Minto and Nina Dale Steen Minto Fisher. Richard was a 1973 graduate of Steubenville Big Red High School and then received his certification in heating and air conditioning. He last worked for Albert Guarnieri & Co. Wholesale making deliveries and in vending machine repair for 15 years. Richard was an avid fisherman. Richard is survived by one daughter, Melissa Minto of Burton; one son, Jason Minto of Warren; four sisters, Margaret Freshwater of Spring Hill, Fla., Helen Lindsay of Toronto, Ohio, Lois Lindsay and Mary Lindsay both of Niles; one brother, Jimmy (Patty) Minto of Wintersville, Ohio and three grandsons. One son, Richard Minto and three brothers, Raymond "Sonny", Bobby and Calvin Minto have all preceded him in death. Per Richard's wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Cremation will be held. A private family memorial gathering will be held at a later date in the Steubenville area. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Niles Chapel.
