Richard W. Seebacher

Richard W. Seebacher, 84, of Austintown, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 29, 2024.

Richard was born February 11, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Sylvester and Eleanora (Rebel) Seebacher. He was a 1957 graduate of West View High School in Pittsburgh and proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1958-1964. 

He was a member of the Ohio Plasterers and Cement Masons Local 179 for over 50 years. He was a cement mason by trade, and later in his career, he became a business agent for Local 179 before his retirement

Richard enjoyed fishing and hunting, and most importantly spending time with his family. 

His wife, the former Judith A. Codner, whom he married on December 1, 1962, passed away on September 21, 2017 after 54 years of marriage. Richard will be remembered lovingly by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Marilynda Seebacher and his granddaughters Lynnette (Tyler) Brown and Renee (Kevin Cox) Seebacher. He will also be remembered fondly by his son Richard Seebacher, grandson Zachary Seebacher; his sisters, Shirley Kohler and Sylvia Herb, and many loving nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Richard was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Seebacher, Dorothy Pritz, James Seebacher, Albert Seebacher, and Sylvester Seebacher. 

Friends may call on Thursday, January, 2nd at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel from 10:00 am until 10:45 a.m , followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m
