Richard W. Dales, Sr.

Richard W. Dales, Sr., 86, of Cortland, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital on November 9, 2019. Richard was born on July 3, 1933 in Warren to Ray & Edna (Barnard) Dales.

After proudly serving his country in the Army, Richard married the love of his life the former Delores (Dolly) List who preceded in him death in 2015 after 53 years of marriage.
Richard spent his career working for Farrell Gas Company as a service man.

Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned.

Richard is survived by his sons Donald Dales and his wife Mitzi; Richard Dales Jr. and his wife Lori; his grandchildren Travis Dales, Niki Dales Gaut, Michael Dales, and Samantha Dales, and 6 greatgrandchildren. Besides his wife, Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters: Bernice Tisler, Dorothy Dales, Theda Griffin, and Genevieve Bundy, and his brothers: Glen Dales and Ray Dales.
