Richard William Cook Sr.

Canfield- funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Richard Cook who died Thursday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mr. Cook was born March 12, 1921 in Warren the son of Richard and Tillie (Bierworth) Cook. He was employed as a welder for Youngstown Steel Door for 37 years retiring in 1983 and was a Army veteran of WWII serving from 1941 to 1945 and he loved to garden. Mr. Cook is survived by his children; Sherry J Houser of North Lima, Marguerite Uscianowski of Austintown, Pamela Allen of Struthers, Debra Young of Phoenix AZ. And Richard Cook of Canfield. He is also survived by his sisters Edna Clark of Warren, Lillian Steffey of Canfield, brother Paul Cook of Warren, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Jane (Asdell) whom he married September 26, 1947 died January 9, 2001 , three brothers Charlie, Joseph, Edward Cook and his sister Gladys Marshall.
