Rita I. Lucente

Austintown- Funeral Services will be held at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel on Thursday at 11 AM for Rita I. Lucente of 5258 Nashua Drive in Austintown who died Monday at her residence. Rita was born on March 31, 1921 in Connecticut and came to Ohio as a child. She graduated as class valedictorian from Campbell Memorial High School in 1939 and married her loving husband Robert Lucente in 1945 who died in February of 2001. Mrs. Lucente was the founder of Conersburg Pizza which she opened in 1962 and managed until 1999. She was a member of St. Christine’s Church and an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. Rita is survived by 2 sons Robert A. Lucente and Donald R. Lucente both of Austintown and a sister Elizabeth Lo Cicero of Youngstown along with 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel Wednesday from 5-8 PM and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
