Rita Margaret Klingensmith

Rita M. Klingensmith, age 96 of Warren passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024. She was born on April 18, 1928, to the late William and Anne Deneen Redkin.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed. She was a lifelong member of Queen of the Holy Rosary. Some of her other interests include dancing, singing, shopping, and was considered a social butterfly.

She is preceded in death by her, husband, Richard G. Klingensmith; children, Debra Misko, James Klingensmith, and Robert Klingensmith; grandson, TJ Plewa; parents; and siblings, Theresa O’Connor, Mary Pistolozzi, Frank Deneen, Rose Downs, Bart Deneen, Wally Deneen,

She is survived by her children, Gary (Charlene) Klingensmith, Tara Cella, Richard (Mary Ann) Klingensmith, Karen (Greg) Fitzpatrick, Joan Emanuel, John (Blanca) Klingensmith; lifelong partner, John Kettler; grandchildren, Ashley Meade, Bobbly Klingensmith, Jaime Cella, Lauren Connors, Carrie Luce, Arlene Stephens, Paul Misko, Frankie Plewa, John Emanuel, and Maria Emanuel along with numerous other extended family members.

Calling hours will be 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel with a prayer service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Howland Township Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.lanefuneralhomes.com.
