Rita P. Rowe

Cortland – Rita P. Rowe, 74, passed away Monday morning, April 22, 2024 at Windsor House in Champion.

Rita was born on August 17, 1949 in Warren, OH a daughter of the late Ivon and Ruth Pickens.

She was a graduate of Badger High School and worked at Delphi Packard Electric.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, ceramics, and making porcelain dolls.

Rita will be deeply missed by her sons, Michael and Wesley Stevens; grandchildren, Cole and Kaileen Stevens; brothers, Gary (Judy) Pickens and Tom Pickens; and sisters, Pam Trimble and Pat Stegall.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Rowe, who passed away on February 20, 2024.

Per Rita’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements were entrusted with Lane Family Funeral Homes Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland.
