Robert A. Baluch

AUSTINTOWN- Funeral services will held 11 Am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Robert A. Baluch age 81 of 175 DeHoff Dr, who died Sat. morning in the Emergency Room at Northside Hospital. Bob was born June 5, 1921 in Youngstown and was the son of Stephen and Anna (Pritoka) Baluch. He had worked at Metal Carbides as a machinist retiring in 1971 and had then worked for Compco Metal Products also as a machinist retiring in 1986. He was a member of Mahoning United Methodist Church, the Wesmith Sunday School Class of the church, American Legion Post 301 and had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He loved to do gardening and play golf. Bob is survived by his wife, Lola (Gutierrez) Baluch whom he married May 24, 1947, three sons- Robert J. (Carole) Baluch, Dennis W. Baluch and Richard G. (Christina) Baluch all of Austintown, one brother Fred Baluch of New Cumberstown, OH, four grandchildren Robert J. Jr., Michael T., Sara E. and Emily A. Baluch. He was preceded in death by a sister Eleanor Dial and a brother Frederick Baluch. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Monday. The family requests that material contributions be made to the church.
