Robert F. Weddell

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday in the First Presbyterian Church of Mineral Ridge for Robert F. Weddell age 81 of 119 Harry St., Girard who died early Friday morning at Liberty Health Care Center in Liberty. Bob was born Aug. 19, 1921 in Pittsburgh, Pa. and was the son of Murry C. and Margaret (Adams) Weddell. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mineral Ridge and had served in the Army during WWII. His first wife, Dorothea Gilbert whom he married Nov. 1, 1945 died March 3, 1977. He is survived by his second wife Julia (Yezzo) Pollock-Weddell whom he married Sept. 4, 1982, two daughters Darlene Hillier of Vienna, OH, Patricia Carpenter of Mineral Ridge, a step daughter Judy Paris of St. Louis, MO, a sister Ruth Wooten of Hubbard, 2 brothers Herman Weddell of Girard, Thomas Weddell of Niles, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters , Ethel Weddell, Lena Lawyer, Nancy Beatty, two brothers Jack and Murry Weddell. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services Monday at the church. The family requests that material contributions take the form of donations to the church, Hospice of the Valley of Trumbull County or donors choice.
