Robert H. "Bobby" Parker, 68 of Warren, died Monday afternoon, June 1, 2020, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital of complications of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was born December 4, 1951 in Youngstown the son of the late Howard Eugene "Sonny" Parker and Patricia Evelyn Thompson McQuown. His stepfather, Carl Ralph McQuown, who helped raise him after his father passed away, also preceded him in death.
Bobby was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. He worked his whole working career as a bricklayer and truck driver and last worked construction with Jack Gibson Construction Company.
Bobby was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Kevin Harvick and the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He was a member of the VFW Post No.1090 Men's Auxiliary.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kathy M. Spurk Parker, whom he married in 1997; three daughters, Amy (Nick) Parker-Jordan of Missouri, Mandie Lynn Turner of North Carolina and Sara (Brian) Linger of Austintown; two stepdaughters, Michelle Pascute of Southington and Natalie Spade of Hubbard; ten grandchildren and two brothers, Rick (Gretchen) McQuown of Columbus and Randy (Char) Parker of Auburn, Calif.
There will be a private family memorial gathering later in the summer at Kerr Cemetery in Weathersfield Township. Per Bobby's wishes cremation was held.
