CANFIELD-Robert Lee Musgrove, 93, passed away early Friday morning, March 27, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital. He was born December 5, 1926 in Oronogo, Missouri, a son of William Clinton and Edna Maud (Widner) Musgrove. Bob served his country during WW ll with the 397th MP Battalion in Germany. Bob and his wife Dorothy moved to Youngstown in 1951 and then to Canfield in 1976. He was employed by Ohio Machinery Co. for 40 years, retiring as Product Support Manager in 1991. Bob was a member of Canfield United Methodist Church, where he was an usher for many years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bob was a member of Poland Lodge No. 766 F. & AM, where he served as master and also treasurer. He served the 24th Masonic District as a District Deputy Grand Master for three years. Bob was a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite-Valley of Youngstown, where he served as Thrice Potent Master of Hiram Lodge of Perfection. He was Coroneted a 33rd Degree of the A.A.S.R. of Freemasonry in Atlantic City in 1999. He was also a member of Ashlar Chapter No. 213, Royal Arch Masons and a member and past pres. of the Hi-Twelve Club No. 720. Bob was a former member of Al Koran Shrine Temple in Cleveland and the Youngstown Shrine Club. Bob’s wife, Dorothy, whom he married January 15, 1950, died Monday, March 30, 2020. Bob is survived by his sons, Ronald Lee (Joanne) Musgrove of Austintown, Mark Alan (Donna) Musgrove of Boardman and Robert Brian Musgrove of San Bernardino, CA; his daughter-in-law, JoAnn Musgrove of Warren; his grandchildren, Ronald (Erin) and Kyle (Samantha) Musgrove, Robyn (Jeff) Doerr, Ryan, Alexis, Bradley and Robert Musgrove; his great-grandchildren, Kayden, Knox and Lydia Grace and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by his sons, Bradley and infant son, David; his brothers, William, John and Fred Musgrove and his sister, Edna (Musgrove) Hornback. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Sixth Floor at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital for their compassionate care and concern for Bob.
