Roberta A. Wildman

: Roberta A. Wildman, 64, passed away at Trumbull Regional Medical Center on April 7, 2019. Roberta was born on July 10, 1954 to Robert & Roberta (Pettit) Davison Sr. After graduating salutatorian of her high school class, Roberta went on to earn her bachelor degree with high honors as well. On September 16, 1972, Roberta was united in marriage to Leslie Wildman, Sr. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2013. Roberta loved to be around people, and she spent several years working as a medical assistant for what is now Cortland Healthcare. However, she spent most of her career driving bus for Fairhaven and training others to be bus drivers. When she was working, Roberta gave back to her community with active involvement with Relay For Life. As a cancer survivor, she knew the need for continued research and support for those struggling with illness. Roberta enjoyed crafting, sewing and reading the latest novel by Nora Roberts or Stephen King. She loved her gardens. Tending to flowers and getting her hands in the dirt helped Roberta relax. However, her family was were greatest passion and she will be remembered as a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Roberta is survived by her children Paula (Jason) Smith, Michael (Jessica) Wildman, Sr. and Leslie Wildman, Jr; her grandchildren: Jeremy Sr., Matthew, Marideth, Isabella, Tyler, Michael Jr., Leslie and Alyson; her great-grandchildren: Jeremy Jr., Alivia and a new one on the way; her mother Roberta Davison and her siblings Koti Davison and Rhonda (Keith Jr.) Camp as well as many other relatives and friends. Besides her husband, Roberta was preceded in death by her father Robert Davison, Sr., and her brothers Robert Davison, Jr. and Russell Reeves. Visitation for Roberta will be held on Thursday April 11, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, Cortland where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sager Cemetery.
