Robin Lynn Gelet

Robin Lynn Gelet, age 62, of Cortland passed away suddenly on February 25, 2025. She was born in Warren to the late Robert and Lillian Root Gelet.

Robin was a graduate of Lakeview High School Class of 1981. She received an associate’s degree from Kent University while working at Packard Electric. She was a union representative helping with the workers’ compensation filings.

She was a loving sister and friend, known as a humanitarian, helping in any way that she could. Whether that be human or animal she was always ready to help. She chaired the Cortland Relay for Life and was a Girl Scout Troop leader. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathy Gelet; best friend, Cindy, her cousins, and cats.

She is survived by her sister, Becky Gelet and many cousins, extended family, and friends.

The family will hold a private inurnment at a later date.
