Ronald A. Arcade

Ronald Anthony Arcade, age 63 of Austintown, Ohio, died at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He was born on January 26, 1951 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Rocco and Mary Stella Morocco Arcade. Ron was a 1969 graduate of Reynolds High School in Pennsylvania. He went on to Youngstown State University and graduated in 1976 and earned his BS in Education and went on and earned his MS in Education in 1982. Mr. Arcade taught elementary school, grades 1-8. Ron was the Executive Director/CEO of ArcRae Inc. in Austintown. ArcRae is a company that aids in supportive living for the developmentally disabled. He liked to work on his 1969 Nova; socializing with people; eating out; his dog, Rocky; and loved spending time with his daughter Shannon. Ron also played in the YSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble as well as playing several other musical instruments and played in a local band. Survivors include his daughter, Shannon N. Arcade of Austintown; three sisters, Mary Lou Farmakis, Marguerite Jara, and Carol (James) Harakal all of Sharpsville, PA; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and his very dear friend, Tisa (Steve) Hamner of Lake Milton, Ohio. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, Ohio 44515, where Father Gregory F. Fedor will celebrate Ronald's life. Family and friends may gather from 5-8 PM, Monday, November 10, 2014 at the funeral home. Following all services, Mr. Arcade will be cremated.
