A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, March 29, at St. Michael Church for Ronald Francis Czuba, 89, of Canfield who passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by his family. Ron was born March 9, 1930 in Detroit MI, the son of Michael and Roma Czuba and came to the area in 1964. He retired in 1989 from General Motors as the Purchasing Agent for the Lordstown Complex after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Michigan National Guard. Ron was also a member of St. Michael Church, a former member of its Mens Club, and a founding member of Boy Scout Troop #115 at St. Michael where he served as Committee Chair. Ron was also a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and a former member of the Model T International Club. His wife, the former Adrienne Zabuski, whom he married November 3, 1956 passed away January 7, 2012. Together they had five children; Tim (Rachel) Czuba of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; Laura Czuba of Bradenton, Florida, Barb (Marty) Gardner of Aurora, Ohio, Michelle Czuba of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Judy (Jack) Palermo of Canfield. He was a loving grandpa to his 15 grandchildren, Stephanie, (Charlie) Minor, Sara (Bryan) Southwick, Madelyn and Brigid Czuba, Mike(Lauren) Stafford, Chris(Megan) Stafford and Alex Stafford, Dan,(Rachel) Gardner ,Tim (fiance Anny) Gardner, Matthew Gardner, Nate and Grace Johnson, Jonathan and Nick Palermo, Chase Southwick and three great grandchildren, Rosemary, James and June. He also leaves his special friend, Mary Ann Frank. Besides his parents and wife, Ron was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Norman Czuba, as well as one sister, Irene Craig. "Our dad and GPa will always and forever be in our hearts." Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel. Friends and family will gather 9:45 AM at St, Michael Church on Friday, March 29, for a Mass of Christian Burial to start at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Ronald F Czuba to the Gary Sinise Foundation.org.
