Ronald J. Mccomb

AUSTINTOWN—Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday in John Calvin St. Paul Church for Mr. Ronald J. McComb, 68 of Argonne Dr., who passed away Monday afternoon in Forum Northside Care Center. Ronald was born Sept, 29, 1934 in Youngstown, the son of Russell L. and Eleanor M Heineman McComb and was a lifelong area resident. He had been employed as an engineer for Youngstown Steel Door 46 years retiring in 2001. He was a member of the church, a Sunday School teacher, member of the church choir, Elder and President of the church. Ronald was also church treasurer for 25 years. He was a 1953 graduate of South High School and received his Associate Degree in Engineering from YSU. Ron enjoyed golfing and bowling. He is survived by his wife, the former Donna J. Costello whom he married January 7, 1956, three daughters, Norma M. Booth of Las Vegas, NV, Terri M. Taylor of Youngstown and Joyce M. Russell of Austintown, one son, Ronald J. McComb Jr. of Austintown, a brother, Eugene McComb of Liberty, 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Russell A. McComb. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and from 10 to 11 AM Thursday at the church.
